Ogilvy Group Welcomes New CEO, Devika Bulchandani Departs for WPP Open X
In a series of significant moves within the advertising industry, Laurent Ezekiel has been appointed as the new CEO of the Ogilvy Group, while Devika Bulchandani, currently the global CEO of Ogilvy, is set to join WPP Open X as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Ezekiel, who most recently served as the CEO of WPP Open X for The Coca-Cola Company, has expressed his commitment to modern marketing and innovation to ensure that Ogilvy remains the most creative and effective communications partner for brands worldwide.
Meanwhile, Bulchandani, who has been the global CEO of Ogilvy since March 2021, has been appointed to lead WPP Open X. In her new role, she will be responsible for marketing services and solutions within WPP to drive growth for the company's clients worldwide.
WPP Open X, a global partnership that unites creativity, media, social networks, influencers, retail, PR, data, and technology into a cohesive marketing ecosystem, has seen significant growth under Bulchandani's leadership. Under her tenure, Ogilvy became the first agency network to top both the WARC "Creative 100" and "Effective 100" rankings for three consecutive years (2023-2025).
The global marketing partnership between The Coca-Cola Company and WPP Open X has been extended in May 2025. This partnership underscores WPP's commitment to delivering unrivaled value and innovation.
Floriane Tripolino, the new CEO of WPP Open X, previously served as the global Nestlé account lead at WPP for four years. During her tenure, she expanded WPP's media presence with Nestlé, advocated for the introduction of new functions like WPP Open, and positioned WPP as Nestlé's largest marketing services partner.
